Southlake, Texas is centrally located between the proud cities of Dallas and Ft. Worth, Texas. The city covers an are of 22.5 square miles and has a population of 21,519 est. Located in Northern Tarrant County, Southlake is home of the Carroll Dragons, the Southlake Stampede and was named in 2006 by D Magazine as the best Dallas/Fort Worth suburb.  

What Makes Southlake Unique?

• Timarron Country Club - Southlake’s own Timarron Country Club is home to the only championship golf course designed exclusively by the legendary Byron Nelson.  “Lord Byron” Nelson is the only golfer to have a PGA tour event in his namesake! His design is a true course of distinction weighing in at a par 72, with a length of 7,012-yards from the tips.  The golf at Timarron Country Club speaks for itself...and is definitely worth the price of admission. Timarron was rated as the 7th Best New Golf Course in the nation by Golf Digest Magazine. Timarron Country Club was also awarded with the 1999 Environmental Steward Award for North Texas from the Golf Course Superintendents Association of America. 
• Carroll Dragon’s Football - every Friday from September through November thousands of Southlake residents from “lil Dragons” to Emerald Belles, Crew members, band members, cheerleaders, students, parents and local business leaders fill the 11,000 seats at Dragon Stadium to cheer on the nation’s #1 high-school football team as rated by the USA Today.
• Parks and Recreation -  the City of Southlake is comprised of more than 675 total park acres, 45 practice and game fields, 15 lighted tennis courts, lighted inline hockey facility, 6 miles of park trails, six concession and/or restroom facilities, five ponds with aeration features and 11 pavilions.
